Some nutritionists prefer the option of supplementing a bypass fat that leverages the benefits of both Stearic Acid AND Palmitic Acid. MagnaBlend consists of 99% Crude fat in Free Fatty Acid form and offers similar benefits as MagnaPalm, but offers a higher availability of C18:0 Stearic Acid, approximately 55%. When fed in dairy rations, Stearic Acid has been shown to increase milk yield and body condition. In addition, MagnaBlend contains 40-45% C16:0 Palmitic acid, which has been shown to increase butterfat levels when fed properly. MagnaBlend has a higher melting point compared to other leading competitors, for improved handling and mixing properties.
